NIEF hosted a two-day workshop in the visualization and analysis of fluorescence-based images using Imaris software, a microscopy image analysis software. In the first day, a series of imaging applications were covered: visualization and animations in 3D, object and cell counting, co-localization, volumetric measurements, particle tracking, and deconvolution. In the second day, the topics of neuronal reconstruction and spine analysis were discussed as well as short one-on-one sections were offered to the participants to analyze their images and clarify doubts.
